An intern on board!

Pietro de Ponti, a PhD student at the University of Milan-Bicocca, is on his research visit at the IBS as a part of the YEpartnerSHIP project.

Pietro is a PhD student in Economics from the University of Milan-Bicocca. He holds an MSc degree in Economics from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan, where he also worked as a research assistant on a project regarding the relationship between tertiary education supply and industrial innovation at the local level. Before starting his PhD, he was a research intern at Federchimica, the Italian Federation of the Chemical Industry. His research interests lie in the field of applied microeconomics, with particular regard to the economics of education.

After hours, he enjoys music, watching sports (football, basketball, rugby) and spending time with his friends.
